Virtual Platforms are software simulation models of hardware designs, and are used for pre-silicon software development, HW/SW co-validation, and architectural exploration. The Virtual Platform team is a collaborative and innovative group of engineers who develop virtual platforms for future generations of Intel SSDs. The team works on a wide range of tasks spanning the whole product development lifecycle, including model design, development, and testing, infrastructure development, third party IP integration, and deployment and support of virtual platforms for the full spectrum of use cases. Our development flow is compliant with the Accellera Systems Initiative SystemC and TLM2 standards, based on C++, and performed mainly in the Windows environment. The ideal candidate will be able to show ab analytical problem solving skills, innovative thinking, and a mindset of continuous improvement and an effective verbal and written communication.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
The candidate must have a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group: The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.
