-Determines creative design approaches and parameters.

-Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
-Applies and uses independent evaluation to selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
-Evaluates practical capability of vendor to support product development.
-Also includes Analog, MixedSignal and RF Development Engineers with specialized skills and expertise in developing Monolithic Integrated Circuits for wireless and wireline communications systems and products using CMOS, BiCMOS, SiGe, GaAs Process technologies.
In MIG Penang team, you will have vast opportunities to develop and contribute your VLSI analog design knowledge in 10G high speed OPIO, Low power OPIO, LP/DDR, USB2, CFIO and many more and develop your all-rounded skillset in timing performance, Verilog modeling, reliability analysis and post silicon characterization exposure. You will also have the opportunity to trail blaze on latest process technology such as 10nm & 7nm.
BSc or MSc in Electronics/Computer engineering with 2 years involvement in IP development. The candidate should have strong inter-personal skills, and be able to work independently and good in stakeholder management.
Any relevant amount of experience would be an added advantage, including:
- IP development experience involving various disciplines e.g. circuit, RTL, APR and custom layout.
- Strong background in analog IO interface design including platform design implementation of various IO interfaces.
