BIOS development will cover developing modules for all the new features and technologies implemented in the chipsets and processors including memory reference code, modules for *T support and support for new interfaces and technologies eg. PCI-e, DDR3 etc.
Working on feature integration, debugging, customization, testing and sustaining of BIOS/Drivers codes, to support a variety of Intel mobile/desktop/server board products.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Electronic Engineering.
Strong background in software design with C, Assembly is a plus
Experience working with Intel Architecture, PC platform and BIOS
Experience in isolating/resolving hardware/software issues
Debugging/root causing software failures
Analytical skills for problem solving
Understanding Post Silicon product validation/debug is a plus
