Lead test engineer

Job Description
Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.


Qualifications

Qualification :- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA Experience :- 8 to 12 yrs Required Skills :-Experience in testing networking software components or protocols on wireless or wired network devicesExperience in defining test plans from feature requirements and product specificationsExposure in testing product level use case scenariosGood understanding of one or more networking protocols/technologies - IPv4, IPv6, Vlan, Switching, RoutingStrong in Linux user level usage and conceptsWell versed with traffic generation and analysis tools such as IXIA, iperf, WiresharkProficient in test automation with python based test frameworksExposure to continuous integration tools such as JenkinsExposure to C programmingFamiliarity with source code control system such as GITKnowledge and experience in Intel DPDK based products is an added advantage
