Software Engineer – Infrastructure and Tools

Job Description

As a Software Engineer your responsibilities will be but are not limited to:

  • Development of tools, methodologies, and processes to support Intel's next generation FPGA technology and products and increase efficiency within the team.
  • The team is also responsible for competitive analysis, automation of design flows and significant data analysis.
  • Some projects would benefit from significant database expertise.
  • Collaborate with other teams to create verification methodologies and keep the department on a common set of tools.
  • Be passionate about infrastructure and flows to increase productivity and help simplify the way people work together.


You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or any related field.

Minimum of 6 months experience with:

  • Python or Perl.
  • UNIX/Linux platforms.
  • Programming or maintaining databases mySQL and/or MongoDB

Preferred qualifications:

  • EDA experience: FPGA or ASIC flows.
