Software Developer in MKL

Job Description

Intel Math Kernel Library Intel MKL team is looking for software development engineer to work in exciting area of High Performance Computing (HPC).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Development and maintenance of Intel MKL Fast Fourier Transforms domain, as well as for overall Intel MKL library design
  • Support and develop global Intel MKL solutions portable across various operating systems and hardware, as well as the development of new features and algorithms optimized for Intel and Intel-compatible architectures.
  • May work directly with companies developing and optimizing compilers, operating systems, and other software technologies.

An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral traits that indicate an ability to learn quickly and work in the team.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous school, industry jobs and/or research experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science or a relevant field
  • 2 years programming in C++, C or FORTRAN
  • 2 years working in Linux or Windows environments
  • Experience with parallelization on OpenMP or TBB.
  • Experience with code optimizations to achieve high performance.
  • Familiarity with CPU architectures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of low level optimizations for IA will be a plus
