Manager, Executive Communications Managed Service

Job Description

In this role, you will design, build and lead a managed service (one-to-many) that scales communications support to Intel's executive leadership team. Services will include communication blueprints comprised of positioning, messaging, templates, custom content, strategic communications counsel and/or more, all designed to reach key internal and external audiences at the right time and under a coordinated and consistent 'one-Intel' umbrella narrative.

You will also lead the MCM Communicator Community of communications professionals working with Intel's executive team and embedded throughout the company to align messaging.

Responsibilities also include the following:

  • Conduct appropriate needs assessment and audience analysis to support effective development of executive communications programs and materials via a managed service.
  • Develop integrated communication plan blueprints to scale communications support to Intel's broad executive leadership team in a one-to-many model.
  • Serve as an advisor on executive communications plan recommendations with Investor Relations, Industry Analyst Relations, External Communications (PR), Government Relations, Corporate Marketing, Internal communicators, HR and others.
  • Develop templates for strategic communication plans and related communications materials for scale PowerPoint presentations, speeches, press releases, contributed articles, and talking points.
  • Manage new executive hire communications in partnership with HR, including announcement of hire, executive integration and first 90-day communications blueprint.
  • Recommend the most appropriate methods and channels to deliver executive communications in service of business and Intel strategy.
  • Effectively manage agency resources to scale a nascent communications managed service practice.
  • Collaborate and assist in the organization and functional design of a nascent executive communications practice for Intel.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. MBA or MA in communications or related field preferred
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, executive communications, employee or internal communications, writing and editing
  • Experience leading or working in a managed communications service model strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and influence many senior executives, providing positioning counsel and executing with a sense of urgency
  • Strong organization, program management and content development skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, meet right deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects
  • Experience contributing to business goals through strategic communications for large, complex organizations
  • Demonstrated creativity, drive and work ethic to generate buzz and excitement for the company's core narratives
  • Deep relationships with technology influencers and deeply knowledgeable with regard to technology, economic and market issues in addition to emerging technology trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the demonstrated ability to turn complex ideas into stories and visual concepts easily understood by a broad audience
  • Flexible and resilient problem solver with the ability to build broad-based consensus and manage sensitive situations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the maturity to interact comfortably with a vast spectrum of hierarchy within the function
  • Willingness to travel
