The Intel Drone team, a part of the New Technology group, has an exciting charter to build Intel’s presence and business model for unmanned aerial systems (UAS), better known as drones. The team is focused on launching new drone systems for commercial applications and lightshows, building ingredients (like Real Sense for situation awareness and depth sensing), but also develop software solutions (Intel Insight) to support data management and analytics.
Intel Insight is a cloud-based data processing, analytics and reporting service that allows customers to store, share and manage the rich data that commercial drone systems provide. The Intel Insight Platform helps harness data collected during a drone flight to unlock business value. Intel Insight is a product of the SW & Services division, part of the Drone Team.
Description: This position is for a Sales Enablement Technical Manager within the Intel Drone Team, SW & Services division. The job requirements include the ability to work with the team on the development, testing and content creation (collaterals) of all products developed by the SW & Services division; drive the technical relationship with potential and existing customers together with the Sales & Marketing Group. The focus of this role is in North America, but the successful candidate may be called upon to work accounts across geographies depending on priorities. A dynamic and entrepreneurial personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential.
Main tasks include:
Support existing enterprise leads in specific vertical markets from a technical standpoint: move opportunities through successful business relationships
Play a key role in managing the client relationship. Work closely with the client on a daily basis to ensure project progress and maintain constant open communication: review and analyze project scope and manage client expectations
Direct accountability for the overall success of the client projects within their portfolio
Identify risks/issues and escalate to the necessary and appropriate team members and stakeholders.
Support new business opportunities in specific vertical markets with technical expertise
Conduct strategic analysis / competitive analysis and determine prospects areas of optimization in order to determine how the portfolio of solutions will speak to those needs
Technical background in GIS (Bachelor of Science in Engineering) and experience in sales enablement in the drone/GIS/construction sector for a SW company (minimum 3 years)
Strong written and oral communication skills are required, including the ability to effectively present in front of a large audience.
Excellent time management and organizational skills are needed in order to prioritize tasks in a very interrupt driven environment.
Good relationship building skills are necessary, including the ability to build a rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of Intel and the customers
Candidate needs to be able to integrate technical, business, market and environmental conditions into a compelling solution that meets the needs of Intel and the customer.
