Overview of the group:
The Intel Drone team, a part of the New Technology group, has an exciting charter to build Intel’s presence and business model for unmanned aerial systems (UAS), better known as drones. The team is focused on launching new drone systems for commercial applications and lightshows, building ingredients (like Real Sense for situation awareness and depth sensing), but also develop software solutions (Intel Insight) to support data management and analytics.
Intel Insight is a cloud-based data processing, analytics and reporting service that allows customers to store, share and manage the rich data that commercial drone systems provide. The Intel Insight Platform helps harness data collected during a drone flight to unlock business value. Intel Insight is a product of the SW & Services division, part of the Drone Team.
Description: This position is for a Strategic Partnerships – Marketplace manager within the Intel Drone Team. We are looking for a highly motivated leader and team player to join Intel Insight team in order to launch and support a plan to accelerate and scale the growth and leverage of our partner ecosystem within Intel Insight. This role will report to the General Manager of SW and Services. This is a key role that requires a balance of strategy, sales and entrepreneurship spirit. Success requires the design and execution of a plan to develop and accelerate the growth and leverage our partner ecosystem in different market segments. The applicant should have the ability to establish broad senior level relationships.
Key to the position is effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, alliances, marketing, legal, operations and SI partners. Maintains a deep understanding of Intel Insight vision and technology and articulates Intel Insight value propositions to new and growing partners. This individual will hold the accountability for achieving and exceeding the performance targets jointly established with sales leadership.
