Job Description In this role as Structural Design Engineer in Intel's ITG CHG organization, you will be responsible for the below items focusing mainly on the structural and physical design tools/flows/methodologies aspects of an IP design & development- Implement structural physical designs and integration tools, flows and methodologies- Enables structural physical designs flows/methodologies for functional equivalency, timing/performance, noise, layout design rules, reliability and power- Enables all aspects of the design flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing- Responsible for TFM for critical Graphics Products manufactured on leading edge process technologies using the latest design methodologies Working on Physical Design flows RTL 2 GDS and ensuring timing, routing, quality closure of multiple IP blocks.- Analyze, debug and develop solutions for convergence challenges to meet design metrics like area, power and performance.
Masters of Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/VLSI Engineering.1 or more years of hands-on experience in tools/flows/methodologies for physical design convergence from logic synthesis to layout verification. Very good understanding of digital design and circuit theory. Knowledge of Industry standard EDA tool like Design Complier, Descartes, ICC, ICC2, Primetime, Red hawk and Formality is desirable. Experience in scripting languages like Perl and/or Tcl. Good communication skills.
