Validation Engineer

Job Description

This position provides an exciting and challenging technical opportunity to drive validation activities related to PCI Express and SATA Solid State Drives and next generation memory products. SSDs are the future of storage and Intel is focused on expanding its presence in the datacenter. In this position you will be on the leading edge of SSDs and their connectedness with datacenter platforms.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • System/Platform and SSD level debugInterface across the organization to drive improvements into test and debug capabilities.
  • Expose product deficiencies based on requirements of datacenter storage customers.


Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience

-Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

- 2+ years experience in a System Level Validation or Development of Storage Systems and/or Storage Devices

-Strong debug skills in relevant experience

-Proficiency in development and/or debug of Python, C, or C++ programming

-Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux Servers Operating Systems

-Demonstrate success in communicating plans, status, issues, concerns

Preferred Skills/Experience:

- Working knowledge of storage as it relates to Intel platforms

- Knowledge of storage protocols SATA and/or PCIe/NVMe

- Demonstrated abilities in technical leadership and self-initiative in work related projects
