Come work for Intel's Automated Driving Group as a Software Engineer, in the Automated Driving Solutions Division. This is an opportunity toWork on automotive customer projects and research academic publications/implementations to understand state of the art deep learning methods being applied for ADAS/AD use cases.
Responsibilities include the following:
Work with cross division teams at Intel to develop reference sensor fusion and autonomous driving algorithms for target architecture using HW optimized API's like OpenCL.
Work directly with key Automotive OEM/Tier1 customers to develop proof-of-concept/benchmark.
Analyze and optimize selective algorithms developed for Intel Architecture based systems.
Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend product/feature enhancements in HW/SW/Libs/Tools.
Provide training to customers and support use of Intel SDK and Tool chain for developing autonomous driving applications including Deep Learning Networks.
Provide acceptance testing and recommend feature enhancements for SDK/Tools/Libraries to partner organizations based on developer experience from customer teams.
Work with customers to help transition their code and development environment to Intel Architecture and associated SW development tool chain
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Must have a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum of 6months experience with:
Prior algorithm development and/or software development experience in Embedded/Automotive applications will be considered highly valuable.
Software Development Toolchain experience on [Intel CPU or Automotive ASIC/FPGA ].
OS: Linux Ubuntu, Yocto and/or Embedded OS/RTOS QNX, GHS, other.
Experience with one or more Computer Vision Programming Tools and APIs: MATLAB, OpenCV, OpenVX, OpenCL
Machine Learning/Deep Learning concepts and experience working with one or more Deep Neural Net frameworks : Caffe, Tensorflow, Theano etc.
Coursework and/or Research background in Digital Image Processing or Digital Signal processing will be a plus
