Job Description If you're interested in computer graphics and working with leading graphics software engineers on Intel's latest GPU/CPU architecture, then our Visual and Parallel Computing Group VPG has opportunities for you. VPG delivers Intel's 3D graphics, media, display GPU, and Parallel Computing Technology. In this position on the Hardware Engineering Content team, your duties will include but not be limited to: - responsible for system-level validation Intel's Gen graphics 3D and GPGPU technologies. - contributing on test plan and software development of feature tests used to validate Intel graphics functionality with respect to architecture specifications. - evaluting pre- and post-silicon validation content and methodologies, as well as drive efficiency and coverage improvements into the graphics system validation flow and synchronize graphics hardware validation strategies with Intel graphics driver implementation.- interacting with architecture, design, system-level simulation, platform, driver, and BIOS engineering groups for a high degree of collaboration and leverage in both the pre- and post-silicon validation phases.- working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment so the ability to multitask and work effectively with many other team members is a must.
Qualifications You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through your educational level research and/or relevant job/internship experiences. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Bachelor's candidates should have 3 years of related post-degree experience or have specialized knowledge in the computer graphics domain Master's candidates must have relevant coursework or intern experience along with related experience in the areas listed below. You should: Enjoy debugging and problem solving Have programming skills in C/C++, Java, or C and programming knowledge of scripting languages Perl/Ruby Possess working knowledge in PC architecture and Intel chipset Passionate about modern 3D graphics pipelines or GPGPU parallel compute capabilities Interest in how hardware and software interact to deliver end user experiences Preferred Requirements: - Knowledge of Windows device driver model - Knowledge of software processes and having had some experience with source control systems - SVN/CVS/GIT/Clearcase/Perforce - Knowledge of software engineering principles object-oriented design, coding standards- Knowledge of industry 3D APIs OpenGL, Direct3D or GPGPU APIs OpenCL, CUDA is a plus
