The ideal candidate is someone who gets excited building things, is highly analytical, and sees the big picture needed to evolve a concept into a product. Your responsibilities will include the following:
Interact with teams of engineers working in other disciplines and on other subsystems.
Develop creative and novel solutions to enhance the Vehicle's to be ADAS/AD capable.
Design enclosures by simulating road conditions and also gathering data from the real-world experiments.
Convert requirements and specifications from engineers and technicians into detailed design requirements while keeping in mind cost minimization and timing urgency.
Perform design validation with the engineers/technicians.
Create drawings and specifications.
Support minor assemblies and design customization as necessary.
Work with vendors and engineering team to design and analyze mechanical and electronic systems and equipment to meet all safety and regulatory requirements.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Must have a B.S in Mechanical, Software, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering field or related technical design field.
- Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Minimum of 3 months experience with:
Experience in mechanical design and drafting Tooling
Automotive, Aerospace, or robotics industry experience
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Mechanical aptitude, fabrication skills, machining, hand tools, and general electronics.
- Strong 3D CAD
