Oversees definition, and documentation for FPGA Field Programmable Gate Array development. Contributes to the development of system solutions including the use of FPGAs for acceleration. Selects, develops, and evaluates FPGA architects to ensure the effective operation of the team. Coordinates with planning, implementation, software, and business units regarding next generation FPGA architectures.
Familiarity with FPGAs, their applications, and software flows.Deep understanding of FPGA internals, including IOs, packaging, memory, logic, clocks and routing.Ability to research and develop opportunities for FPGAs in the complex ecosystem of Intel silicon offerings, including CPUs, memory, and systems.Ability to manage and coordinating a team of experienced FPGA engineers and their interactions with implementation, planning, and software teams, and drive the closure through specifications.Ability to generate new architectural or applications ideas for existing or future FPGAs, and ability to create, organize and drive virtual teams to evaluate such applications ideas.
BSEE or 10+ years experience in FPGA's.
