About this position:Virtualization is a fundamental technology for datacenter, cloud and enterprise. Meanwhile, new virtualization usages like Automotive are emerging, which demand for virtualization enhancements. Intel Virtualization Technology provides hardware extensions to Intel architecture for efficient support of virtualization. Intel silicon enables automotive tier one suppliers to assemble next-gen SDC Software Defined Cockpit solutions comprised of Digital Instrument Cluster, In-vehicle Infotainment IVI, Rear Seat Entertainment, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems ADAS.Traditionally, each of these components would have been implemented and executed on an independent SoC. Intel Automotive Virtualization technology enables an auto manufacturer to execute all the components on the same SoC, utilizing platform virtualization as a method to share critical resources and separate safety critical code portions of the platform from non-safety critical. The scope of the work covers functional and performance testing for Intel Automotive Hypervisor solution, and software development for the automated test cases and test framework. In this team, you will work and learn cutting-edge virtualization technologies in depth and software testing/development methodologies. Qualifications:-Solid experience and knowledge in Linux software development/testing, especially Linux Kernel.-Familiar with software development and validation process & lifecycle.-Good at automation methodology, family with scripts e.g., Shell, Python and C programming.-English skills, including oral and written English.-Knowledge on IA X86 architecture, graphic, camera, audio, security and other device driver skills will be a good plus.-Knowledge/experience on virtualization and its open source implementations e.g. Xen and KVM will be a good plus.
