Responsibilities may include:
IT Undergraduate Technical Interns in Mfg. IT will work with the Process Integration and Control Systems team, providing Factory Automation support to the Intel factories in Arizona as well as other locations. They will install, configure and support client computing systems with control software for factory tools and processes. In some cases, if their experience and skills allow, they maybe part of the teams collecting requirements from partners and designing/building 3-tier applications, with database back-end and middle-tier systems.
These IT projects are expected to last from 3 to 9 months, and can be aligned to your course schedule and University rules. and will involve coaching and mentoring from senior IT/Automation engineers. The Student Interns will be given classroom-type or web-based training on computing systems configuration and support.Mfg. IT group provides services in factory automation, engineering analyses and excursion management systems areas, to Intel's Fab and Assembly/Test factory network across the world.Job assignments in this position are for the summer but maybe also year-round if the University has provisions for it.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
- Pursuing BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Must have unrestricted right to work in US without requiring sponsorship.
