Low-Power Circuits Technology Research group in Intel Labs is looking for a self-driven college graduate in the area of low-power mixed-signal VLSI circuit design. The candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team to research and develop innovative energy-efficient circuits and systems for on-die memory, adaptive and resilient designs, clocking, power management techniques, and low-power circuits for machine learning/sensors applications. In this role, the candidate will work on the research as well as proof-of-concept design of complex low-power mixed-signal circuits on latest silicon processes. The candidate will do detailed simulations/analysis to advance design metrics like speed, power, and/or area.
Furthermore, the candidate will drive test-chip layout work, and conduct post-Si testing and characterization in order to successfully demonstrate the technology on silicon prototype. The candidate may work closely with other business groups within Intel to transfer new technologies into products and provide necessary documentation/training to enable a successful product integration. The candidate may also participate in the development of intellectual property and lead future research efforts.

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
The candidate must have a PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or any related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in the following:
Mixed-Signal Circuit Design.
Standard CAD tools for circuit simulation and design
Knowledge / Experience with:
Experience in advanced silicon process taking design from circuit to silicon prototype
Experience in commercial RTL/Synthesis/AP R design flow.
