SSD Product Development Engineer

Job Description

In this position, you will be playing a key role in the product development phase of Client SSDs with focus on SSD debug.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Support SSD system level integration with OEM and Channel platforms for Client SSD Market segment
  • Performing electrical failure analysis using available tools
  • Designing and carrying out experiments to identify failure root cause and fix validation
  • Documenting and reporting debug analysis with hypothesis
  • Responsible for becoming a strong contributor both as an individual contributor and as part of a highly dynamic product development team


Qualifications

Education:

You must have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 4+ years of direct related experience, or a Master’s degree and 2+ years of direct related experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • SSD failure analysis and debugging OR analyzing NAND failure modes and validating solutions

Addition Requirements:

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Problem solving experience
  • Ability to quickly become a strong contributor both as an individual contributor and as part of a highly dynamic product development team
  • Good written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in and/or knowledge of NAND FLASH memory FA/Debug/Validation is big plus
  • Bench test equipment O-scope, Analyzers and others
  • Experience using scripting languages such as Python
