We are looking for a candidate for TCAD intern position. TCAD stands for Technology Computer Aided Design.
The group is working on SW tools to support semiconductor technology development and manufacturing.
These tools are tailored to model complex physical processes related to all stages of manufacturing and operating of semiconductor devices and tools used for their production.
As a rule this is accomplished through numerical solution of equations based on mathematical models of physical processes (e.g. Partial Differential Equations or their systems).
The group works in tight collaboration with our colleagues in the USA and application engineers there.
The candidate must possess solid knowledge of mathematics, numerical analysis, and most importantly physics of Bachelor of Science (BS) level from Physical department of a university.
He/she should be familiar with basic principles of solid state, plasma, and electrodynamics physics, physical kinetics, and quantum theory.
Practical skills in SW development and C++ knowledge would be very useful as well.
Any previous experience with participating in big SW development projects will be appreciated.
The candidate should be able to communicate effectively about all technical aspects of the project in English (both written and verbal).Inside this Business Group
