Senior System-Level Test Development Engineer (f/m)

Job Description

Intel develops innovative integrated circuits ICs for the mobile communication market. In order to guarantee the highest quality of our products to our customers, each integrated circuit is tested in production before shipment.We are looking for motivated and creative engineers for the development of System-Level Test SLT solutions as part of the high volume production test on so-called Automated Test Equipment ATE.

An ATE is a highly complex integrated measurement system which uses a computer workstation programmed in a modern programming language like C/C++ to control a high number of generic source/measure channels with digital, analog and RF functionality. It is the responsibility of the test development engineer to write the product-specific test program code which runs the actual production tests on the ATE and also to design the hardware that interfaces the IC under test with the ATE tester channels. While standard ATE test will focus on the electrical properties of the IC under test alone, in SLT the device is operated as part of a fully functional system.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the development of automated test solutions for high-volume production test on ATE
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the development of electronic circuits
  • Experience with test board design, verification and maintainance
  • Hands-on experience with lab measurement equipment like Oscilloscopes, In-Circuit Debuggers, Spectrum Analyzers
  • Advanced software development skills with C/C++ and scripting languages, e.g. Python or Perl
  • Knowledge of System-on-Chip architectures and Digital Signal Processing in cellular modem applications beneficial
  • Practical experience with ATE equipment including automated handling solutions beneficial
  • Knowledge in adjacent related fields design-for-test, concept engineering, application engineering beneficial
  • Experience in Windows/Linux OS and skills in Microsoft Office
  • Interpersonal and team working skills
  • Language skills: English mandatory, German beneficial
