Cloud Graphics Software Engineer Intern

Job Description

You will have unique ability to learn with our help GPU virtualization and PCIe technologies, video encoding such as AVC and HEVC. Virtual Desktop Interface virtualization technologies including hypervisors such as Xen and KVM. Cloud Graphics is a fast growing technology in which you can learn technology edge technologies from word experts from the team in Gdansk. Do not hesitate to apply!

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to program in C, C++- Know how in CPU and the PC system design
  • Know how in IP networking technologies
  • Some experience in GPU processing such as 3D both DX or OpenGL, media processing on GPU, or OpenCL
  • Some experience in Operating System architectures, user space and primarily kernel space drivers for Windows or Linux
  • Understanding of GPU parallel processing architecture
  • Understanding of 3D pipeline, media pipeline, and GPU workloads in 3D games or applications
  • Ability to learn most of the above quickly if your are not yet there

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Windows and Linux drivers such as power manager for CPU and discrete GPU
  • Implement DLL libraries and services for Windows and Linux that communicate with kernel drivers
  • Frequent collaboration with Intel customers to solve technical problems- Conduct performance and power characterization with software and hardware bottleneck root causing on Intel CPU, Intel GPU and discrete GPU
  • Conduct research and implement POCs in new usage models for the solution
