Technical manager and System Engineer

Job Description

Intel freeD is a dynamic and creative group with a start-up atmosphere within Intel, developing the future of video technology. freeD stands for Free Dimensional Video, and is an entirely new concept for capturing, processing and rendering video so as to allow users to impressively interact with real, live video. Our content is captured in the largest sport and entertainment venues in the world -Super Bowl, Soccer, NBA, etc. and is used today on television.

We are looking for a Technical Manager / System engineer in order to lead the development of its proprietary 3D technologies. Responsibilities include system engineering, design and development of products, technically leading a group of experts and customer handling.


Required Skills:

  • B.Sc. in an engineering field - electronics / computers / software, accompanied with vast literacy
  • 7+ Years of experience in system engineering / technical management
  • Experience in writing specifications and system design
  • Proven experience in development planning, resource management, risk mitigation and risk management
  • Previous experience in integration of multiple module system system of systems
  • Vast experience with FW development projects
  • Vast experience with image processing and computer vision/machine vision
  • Experience with modules acceleration methods and compression methods
  • Experience in customer handling and managing
  • Proven teamwork capabilities


  • Past experience in HPC clusters and real time programming
  • Computerized graphics CGI
  • Knowledge in 3D image processing field
  • Experience with VR/MR/AR technologies
