Job Summary
We’re looking for a Solution Architect to a part of the sales team.  You will be a primary member of the deal team, shaping the sales cycle and the prospect experience. Responsible for an annual goal, you will win new business by:

  • Partnering with Business Development Managers in the field.
  • Telling our story in a compelling and credible manner to c-suite executives and technical leaders. 
  • Establishing technical credibility with the prospect organization. 
  • Engineering & delivering relevant and compelling custom demonstrations. 
  • Understanding the prospect’s relevant business processes & problems.
  • Designing practical and viable product-driven solutions to help the customer. 
  • Writing clean and clear statements of work, RFP responses, and design documents.
  • Driving market insights and observations back into the organization.


  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience as a software engineer or a similar role.
  • 4+ years of experience in a pre-sales or customer-facing role for enterprise software.
  • Fluent in a modern programming language (Python, Java, etc.), SQL, JSON, XML, SSL, RESTful APIs, and other related standards.
  • Conversant in Natural Language Processing and related tools (Stanford NLP, Apache OpenNLP, etc.).
  • Hands on experience with machine learning frameworks (Tensor Flow, Caffe, Spark, Pattern, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of public cloud services (AWS, Google, Azure, etc.) and their AI-related offerings. 
  • Hands-on! You still like to roll the sleeves up, learn, and build!

Additional Desired Traits/Skills:

  • Experience in the financial services, government (federal), or healthcare sectors. 
  • Experience with industry-specific data ontologies. 
  • You communicate well and possess solid social skills (EQ). 
  • You’re a team player and find that you are at your best when working in collaboration with others.
  • You have the confidence to express your opinions and advocate for ideas that are unconventional or even unpopular, but possess the maturity and professionalism to value relationships more than you value “being right”. 
  • You’re proactive, finding ways to add value and thrive in a rapidly growing, unstructured business environment. 

Travel Requirements
Must be able and willing to manage up to 50% domestic and international travel.
