Energy Engineer Internship

Job Description

The successful candidate will be working within Corporate Sustainability Group and reporting to the Global Energy Program Manager. They will get broad experience on most or all of these systems right across the corporation throughout the duration of employment period.

The Scope of the role will include:

  • Energy data extraction, analysis and reporting
  • Energy Monitoring & Targeting, Energy Performance Indicator development
  • Energy System ISO 50001 operation
  • Energy conservation project identification & feasibility Analysis
  • HVAC Automatic Fault Detection rule set development
  • Problem solving and data analysis.
  • Report writing & presentations.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

The candidate will have an academic background minimum Level 8 degree in Energy/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

  • They will need to be a self-starter and good team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills and a flexible attitude to problem solving and goal setting.
  • Specific IT knowledge of databases such as SQL, Microsoft excel, web bases applications, SCADA, BMS, and electrical metering systems.
  •  Knowledge of facilities systems such as chillers, HVAC, boilers, pumps & fans.
  • Good knowledge of instrumentation, metering, engineering units and data conversion
  • They also need to be well disciplined in regards to policies and procedures and have a keen eye for detail.
