About this position...

As a member of Intel's BCP PHY Systems/Algorithms team developing multi-comm, SoC solutions for the mobile, portable, wearable and IoT wireless markets, you will work on system definition and design, performance analysis, trouble shooting and verification of Bluetooth (BT) radio transceivers and baseband.

You will work closely with Multi-Comm SoC, VLSI & RF design teams, firmware development teams, integration & validation test teams, to create robust solutions meeting or exceeding the market requirements for both OEM and end-user customers. You must be a fast learner, multi-tasking, extremely independent with leadership abilities to drive the technical development and with excellent communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Define product Phy requirements and architecture – provide RF requirements & SW specs
  • Develop algorithms for digital wireless communication systems including performance simulations and VLSI requirements
  • Develop and integrate advanced radio calibrations techniques and digital compensation algorithms
  • Drive and lead Phy system integration. Align all execution bodies from a technical perspective and make sure the design meets the system requirements 
  • Solve complex multi-disciplinary system issues involving the HW/SW/RF/Modem domains in close cooperation with all of the development teams


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Requirements:

M.Sc in Electrical Engineering preferably in communication or signal processing with 5+ years of industry experience.

Over 3 years of engineering experience in one or more of the following disciplines;

  • system engineering, algorithm development, RF design, system integration, modem design
    • Independent and self-motivated, capable of executing in uncertainty environment
    • Leadership and ability to drive forward activities in matrix organization
    • Good Mathematical and Analytical Skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with mobile wireless standards and protocols especially Bluetooth
  • RF lab work experience and hands-on system integration
  • knowledge in architecture of RF receive and transmit Chains
  • Understanding of high volume manufacturing processes
