This position is for the firmware development of Power management microarchitecture for managing power/energy efficiently for Mobility/Converged mobility/client devices, with focus on active power management, idle power management, thermal management. The successful candidate will be responsible for:- developing and validating power management firmware for Mobility/Converged mobility/client devices. - converting firmware architectural specification to C/assembly code and create design documents with detailed flow charts- implementing in assembly programming/C- creating test plans and test cases as well as debugging failures in both pre-silicon and post-silicon environments
- 5-15 years of experience in embedded software/firmware development with specific expertise in SoC power management features -Ability to design/code/unit test and debug in C/assembly development environment-Knowledge of SoC architecture is preferred. Exposure to CPU, Graphics, Media, Display, DDR, Imaging, Audio, IO systems is desired with strong expertise in any of these domains.-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
