Signal and Power Integrity Graduate Trainee

Job Description

Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates complex analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for analog and mixed signal electronic equipment. Technical skillset includes signal/power integrity modeling, system level electrical simulations/analysis and lab's signal/power integrity measurements/correlations, while working on projects such as signal/power integrity tools' development using Matlab, electrical validation tool development using C, C++ and new signal/power integrity tool exploration.


Qualifications

Candidate should possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree Electrical and Communication or a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering with two years of relevant experience. Additional qualifications include:- Strong background in signal/power integrity analysis and electromagnetic- Demonstrate great problem solving skills, a strong commitment to task and good communication skills- Familiarity with signal integrity concepts such as: transmission line effects, return path, ground bounce, termination techniques- Leadership skill to drive simulation to design guide and participate in various internal and external electrical forums, ability to work on ambiguous and/or challenging issues, willingness to take on a variety of projects and ability to work in cross-functional teams- Experience in using HSPICE*, DOE and/or JMP, ADS*, Cadence* CAD and/or Allegro* design tools- Experience in high-speed signal measurements, signal integrity simulations and signal jitter analysis techniques- A working knowledge of time and/or freq domain signal analysis equipment digital real-time and/or sampling scopes, BERT, TDR, VNA as well as hands-on programming skill Perl, Matlab, Python would be an added advantage- Experience in analog I/O design would be an added advantage
