As a member of the IT Engineering Computing team, the System Programmer will be an all-rounder in the Linux System Administration field. The main focus of the role is the operation of high performance computing environment in data centers and labs including application servers/compute servers/file storage. The candidate also needs to have automation skills and ability to support the user community in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.The responsibilities of the IT System Programmer will include but not be limited to:- Troubleshooting and support to data center/Lab software/hardware issues- Installation, operation and configuration of compute farm components Linux focus: compute servers, login servers and application servers.- Driving continuous improvement efforts to meet data center health goals, as well as emerging capacity and performance needs.
