As an Engineer in Transceiver Device Software team in PSG, you will be responsible for the modeling of Altera's high speed serial interface IPs in Quartus II design software. The team is responsible for software abstraction of hardware IP including PLLs, PCS layers, PMA and analog functions, creation of simulation models and generation of configuration bit-stream and supporting data to implement high speed serial protocols such as PCI Express, CPRI, Ethernet, Interlaken, SDI, and more for our FPGA customers. Activities include working with circuit design teams on architecture alignment, RTL development, functional verification and debug, software design and development for modeling of programmable IP blocks. Minimum Qualifications :
BSCE/BSEE with 4 years of experience OR MSCE/MSEE with 2 years of experience
Strong knowledge and experience in simulation Verilog HDL/ System Verilog.
Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl ,TCL.
Knowledge of system-level hardware is a bonus .
Familiarity with IP verification and verification methodologies is a bonus.
