As an Intel Facilities Automation and Controls Engineer, you will play a significant role in helping to develop the world's most revolutionary processors. You will join an elite group who work at our high-tech technology and development fabrication facilities using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and tools. 

Our Intel Facilities Automation and Controls Engineers make a big impact by helping develop standard solutions to improve facility control systems that support Intel's worldwide manufacturing base. In this specific role we are looking for a candidate that can improve our efficiencies in existing processes and tools through scripting.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this entry level position. Experience would be obtained through your educational level research and/or relevant job/internship experiences.

    • Bachelor of Science degree or Master's degree in Electrical, Systems and Controls, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field.
    • Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.

    1 year of experience in:

    • Scripting, high level computer languages, servers, operating systems, databases, and networking.
    • Perl, parsing files and extracting data, manipulating data structures, basic SQL queries, code revision control, GUI development, Windows scripting PowerShell, VBA with Excel macros or otherwise, using the command line, common file types, csv, xml, etc., regular expressions.
    • Industrial automation platforms, including GE Fanuc Cimplicity, Rockwell Automation ControlLogix PLC products or other Facility Management Systems PLC & SCADA.
    • Design and construction standard practices.
    • System troubleshooting.
    • Instrumentation.
