The Technology and Manufacturing Group Strategic Planning is a worldwide organization that is focused on developing the plans and options needed to support the manufacturing engine of Intel's factory network. This is an entry level Industrial Engineering position based at the Aloha campus located near Portland Oregon.
This position will be responsible for planning manufacturing facilities and equipment layouts, determining the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow, and establishing methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. The candidate will provide a link between the Strategic Planning organization and Design, Construction, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and other organizations during all stages of layout development. As part of the layout development process the candidate will be responsible supporting the analysis and recommendations for future use scenarios and optimizing the installation sequence and timing.
In addition to layout development work the candidate will also be expected to develop, follow, and improve business standards within the organization and drive alignment across multiple sites in various geographies. This includes participating in mission based teams with partners located in Israel, Ireland, Arizona and California which at times will require meetings outside of the standard work hours and travel to remote sites.
