System Validation Architect for Wireless Connectivity Solutions group

The AMAZING group that does this technology is - GNSS Core products (GCP). This group develops and ships cutting edge GNSS solutions, from prototyping to discrete Silicon (SoC) to full product integration. Products developed by Intel GCP are designed to be integrated in high-end mobile products in the market.

In GCP the System Validation team is responsible from white box and black box validation testing of the product, and owns the responsibility to deliver products with high quality and great UX (user experience). The team is highly professional with deep understanding of GNSS technology, and massive investment in SW and automation development. The validation activities includes lab work as well as field trials.

We are looking for excellent and highly motivated candidates for Validation Architect position to join our winning team. The team is located in Petach Tiqva, Israel.

Our objective is to invest in robust validation methodologies, creation of comprehensive test plan and building automated infrastructure so that execution and analysis of results is efficient and reliable. Our job is to ensure quality and reliability of the shipped product.


  • Develop the Location and GNSS validation methodology from grounds up
  • Develop common architecture for all validation setups and work with System and SW architects to provide the proper API’s
  • Review test plans and ensure coverage vs. requirements, high quality , UX and other aspect of product validation
  • Develop common solutions for post processing and data analysis
  • Develop infrastructure and methodology for efficient use of the test equipment
  • Represent validation requirements with Si, SW and Phy architects to ensure testability and debugability of the product in all phases from Pre-Si to Product in the field
  • Develop methodologies for competitive analysis

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bs.c or Master degree in Electronics/ Computer science  
  • 8+ years of relevant  validation experience in any of the following fields
    • Wireless SoC / System validation
    • RT/ Embedded systems
    • Mobile products (smartphones, wearables etc.)
  • Deep understanding of wireless system validation methods and practices
  • System level understanding
  • Programing skills (C#, Python, C++, Java etc.)
  • Highly motivated and proven capability to work in a team.

Nice to have Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of GNSS technology and tools – a big advantage
  • Matlab simulation
  • RF and Phy
  • Cellular protocols (3G, LTE etc.)
