As a Software Engineer in this team you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining various features of Quartus. Quartus is the software used for designing hardware for Intel FPGAs. These features help our customers use the high-speed transceivers on Intel FPGAs.Your primary task will involve modeling high-speed transceivers such that Quartus can produce the programming bits that configure these features in Intel FPGAs.The usual software engineering skills is expected. Knowledge of programming languages like C++ or Java and scripting languages like Python, PERL or TCL.A strong grounding in software engineering theory and practice is required.Significant knowledge of 'EDA' Electronic Design Automation methodologies is required.Adequate understanding of hardware design using languages like Verilog or VHDL would be a great asset.
