Job Description:The candidate will be part of the Graphics Display Emulation Team within Visual and Parallel Computing Group VPG, working on Graphics Display IP Validation and Content Generation. VPG is responsible for delivering integrated graphics IP for Intel's various products.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:1.Display IP level validation which includes running regression for emulation. 2.Should be able to develop scripts, test cases as per the test plan. 3.Should be able to bring up the waveform for further debug with a given trigger.4.Participate actively in first level of regression debugs5.Running weekly regressions, triage and reporting out6.Provide weekly status to leads/managers7.Contribute to improving automation including Test bench, trackers/checkers, execution scripts, debug tools and others8.Attend required cross-site/geo meetings on a need basis9.Own any Display IP level Units/features, implement validation methodology enhancements as required10.Proactively propose, prototype and implement methodologies that can improve efficiency


Qualifications: Should be pursuing Master or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with interest in Emulation. Should have basic understanding of Computer architecture, micro controller/microprocessor, graphics architecture/design &/ Video processing technics/standards.Experience with industry standard automation and scripting C/C++/Shell programming/PERL/Python to conduct efficient and Basic experience with Emulation Validation and Debug Exposure - Zebu, FPGA, Waveform AnalysisGood analytical ability, problem solving and communication skills Desirable Qualifications:Knowledge of graphics architecture and/or designs & coursework in relevant areas of programming, computer graphics, digital design and computer architecture are desirable. RTL debug experience using Verdi/VCS Familiar with emulation methodology Graphics architecture knowledge is an added advantage Be flexible to take new tasks based on the department needs Some experience in Video Encoding/Decoding, Image Processing design/validation is a plus.
