In this position, you will be responsible for production support engineering with respect to testing methods, procedures, and problem device specification and yield problems minor redesign of devices and masks analysis of customer returns and optimizing device production relative to cost constraints. Assume responsibility for device after transfer into high volume production and usually responsible for entire device manufacturing operations other than wafer fabrication. May assist customer in device usage problems or customer testing of complex devices. Plans and schedules daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement based on standard practices.
As a Test Development Engineer, you will define and implement advanced Design for Test DFT features for next generation FPGAs. Your DFT responsibility involves working closely with various Design teams programmable logic, memory, digital IP, analog and high-speed SERDES from the initial IP/product planning phase through design implementation and verification. You will also be defining test methodologies, developing test benches & running simulations, deploying test patterns and validating them on silicon. Test methods may include BIST, ATPG, System-level/Functional and Parametric testing to achieve high product quality. You may need to interact with process technology teams to uncover potential defect mechanisms. Your work also supports product teams with yield improvement and high-speed SERDES characterization.
You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
