You will be part of Intel Architecture Cores Group IACG group within PEG, in the Big Core IP development team driving Intel's latest CPU's in the World's leading process technologies.Physical Design Lead who can take ownership of IP physical implementation and integration till Tape In.Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: 1. Driving Design Convergence across Timing, Power & Quality of Synthesis, Datapath & Register-File designs of Core blocks as per schedule.2. Develop design methodologies for efficiency in design convergence, power reduction and area reduction3. Design Convergence across hierarchical levels3. Coordination with Layout, Floor planning and Backend Integration4. Working across domains, sites and organizations to set and achieve convergence and quality targets
You must possess a Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with at least 14 or more years of experience in related field or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 15 years of experience.Must have driven and worked on leading technology nodes: 14nm, 10nm, 7nm.Must have participated in all stages of backend design and worked on logically and physically challenging designs.Must have proven track record of technical leadership and innovation which clearly correlates to product goodness.Ability to guide logic RTL design for easing backend convergence is very highly desirable.In depth Project lifecycle understanding is a must.Work closely with Project Leader for creating schedule, tracking and raising issues / risks to project management.Should work with CAD/DA team for driving enhancement in Tools, Flows and MethodologiesShould be well versed with the Static Timing Analysis and Timing Closure methodologiesShould be able to provide clear directions to the team on Back End flowsShould be well aware of place and route methodologiesShould have excellent communication and influencing skills to negotiate with stakeholdersShould be a Technical Role Model and mentor technical leads in the teamShould be self-motivated, display conflict resolution skills, and have experience working with global teamsInside this Business Group
