Oversees definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC interconnect development on Intel's FPGA's. Determines architecture design, logic design, and system simulation. Performs Logic design to implement various on-chip protocols, functional units and adapters into SoC interconnects, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation. Performs all aspects of the FPGA design flow from highlevel design to synthesis, place and route, and timing optimization. This position will work with a team of engineers to expand and implement new protocol support and adaption between AXI, Avalon, and other on-chip communication protocols.
Understanding of the FPGA design flow: logic implementation and timing optimization for different FPGA architectures. Understanding of common on-chip protocols such as AMBA AXI3/4, ACE, Avalon, Wishbone, etc. Understanding of Network on Chip implementations and packet routing. 6 years experience in RTL design and verification. Ability to design highly parameterizable RTL blocks and understanding the necessary validation to prove functionality across the parameterization space.Inside this Business Group
