CPU Power Management Architect
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing architectural capabilities for power management, performance management, thermal management in Intel microprocessors.
Specify and evaluate power management architectural features, including their behavior in hardware, software and hardware/software interface.
Model and Analysis of power management features in various usage models, workload and platform conditions.
Perform power and performance analysis taking into account energy efficiency targets and power/thermal constraints.
Defines, documents and tests processes for inclusion into technical platforms, subsystem specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
Identifies, analyzes and resolves subsystem and/or SoC design weaknesses.
Influences the shaping of future products by significantly contributing to the architecture used across design families.
Provides multilayered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
Bachelor or M.S in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering with 4/3 years of experience in Computer Architecture or PhD 1 year of relevant work experience
Prior experience in Power and Performance Analysis
Expose to standard programming and scripting languages such as C+, Perl, etc.
Experience in power delivery and power management architecture
