Job Description

Interested in understanding, analyzing and explaining why different computing solutions behave the way they do? The Platform Evaluation and Assessment team within Intel's Sales and Marketing Group is looking for interns who can do that for a variety of computer platforms covering the gamut from virtual reality (VR) and gaming setups to desktops to ultrathin laptops. The job will involve developing tools for gathering data, running benchmarks and other workloads, generating/analyzing/presenting feedback to engineering and marketing.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a software technical nature. Experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

The candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum qualifications:

Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

Must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship

At least 3 months of experience with: 

- Assembling computer systems

- Programming in a Windows environment  

- Computer and processor architecture
