Energy Analysis Intern

Job Description

The energy tools team creates software tools that collect data from the hardware about how power is spent. Customers use our tools to analyze the behavior of their computer systems and how they are operating at various frequencies and stages of idleness.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role, U.S. experience and education requirements. Job assignments may be for the summer or for short periods throughout the school year.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Using the tools developed
  • Testing the tools, or working directly on the tools to add new functionality.


Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in programming with Python and/or C/C++.
  • Minimum 3 months experience with:
    • Computer architecture.
    • Systems architecture
    • Systems programming, or programming close to the hardware.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with image processing or signal processing applications.
