Description Intel Corporation is seeking for Environmental Health and Safety EHS Engineer to work in close partnership with Europe, Middle East and Africa EMEA operations as well as regional EHS peers to strengthen the company's existing EHS programs and create new, innovative approaches to ensuring EHS compliance. In this position, you will be part of a diverse regional EHS team with members based across several sites within the EMEA region. The team supports Intel's business units involved in Research & Development, Logistics, Warehousing, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources etc. utilizing direct site and remote methodologies. This position is responsible for all EHS disciplines Safety, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Ergonomics. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with relevant safety, environmental and industrial/occupational hygiene regulatory requirements for EMEA sites, as well as support the Organizations Regional EHS compliance objectives. This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate shares the company's commitment to employee and customer safety and has a desire to employ new and innovative ways to ensure flawless Environmental Health and Safety compliance. This is a full time positionScope of employee's tasks for the position of EMEA Environmental Health and Safety Engineer: - Analyze and oversee all EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all country, and local laws and regulations. - Serve as the liaison with local, and country agencies establishing a strong partnership and oversee the response to any inquiries or inspections. - Analyze, evaluate and provide site management / Regional EHS Manager with dashboards and metrics that measure effectiveness of the EHS compliance and training programs. - Undertake the necessary EHS risk assessments to ensure Intel EMEA sites will be compliant to the local law. - Provide strategic EHS direction and leadership to all EHS initiatives. - Oversee the company's regulated waste program including WEEE. - Maintain and renew all necessary environmental and safety permits. - Coordinate chemical approvals for their use across Intel EMEA sites. - Conduct and/or co-ordinate technical assessments such as noise & lighting surveys, determining indoor air quality, radio frequency assessments and other relevant workplace exposure assessments. - Conduct audits and provide written reports of findings and recommendations for improvement. - Serve as the local point of contact for mandatory EHS training and provide that training where necessary as an instructor led course or develop a WBT course. - Respond to customer business unit and CS requests or events as they occur. - Increase EHS awareness amongst the employee base. - Work on a remote basis with fellow EHS department members across the EMEA region. - Oversee and manage all the compliance payments within EMEA sites. - Coordinate fatality related programs across EMEA region. - Ensure EHS compliance and part in the new sites acquisitions process.



- Master Degree or Postgraduate Studies diploma in Environmental Health and Safety.

- Knowledge of local country and EU environmental aspects.

- Knowledge of the fields of Safety, Environment, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Ergonomics.

- Knowledge of EU EHS legislation and experience in assuring organizational compliance.

- Ability to provide health and safety services according to the German law.​

- Fluent English and German both spoken and written form.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
