Game Market Research Intern

Job Description

As a Game Market Research Intern for Intel's Game Developer Program team, you will be responsible for conducting industry research to help inform decision making on our co-marketing programs for game developers. Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role, U.S. experience and education requirements. Job assignments may be for the summer or for short periods throughout the school year.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct competitive analysis on other game developer programs and to understand the issues most important to game developers.
  • Work with a team to develop and present recommendations for new programs and modifications to existing programs.
  • Perform research on influencers on YouTube, Twitch, and other social media networks regarding game industry trends.
  • Ask and answer pertinent questions regarding game developer co-marketing and go-to-market benefits.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  •  Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Must be available for a Year long Internship.
  • Minimum of 3 months experience with:
    • Video gaming
    • Social media
    • SharePoint and Google drive 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hardware experience
  • Event experience
  • Ability to travel on occasion
  • Experience developing with Unreal or Unity game engines is a bonus.
