Job Description

We are Intel's unmanned aerial vehicles UAV team and we need YOU to make our products fly!

Formed by a recent acquisition, we are a small but successful startup within Intel and operate in a highly dynamic and largely independent environment.

We are looking for a passionate HW Engineer, Intern to grow and come future talent in our drone organization.

As a HW engineer intern you will have good understanding of electronics circuits, component symbol generation, schematics, layout, component modifications, validation, mechanics and documentation.

Since we are able to operate like a small independent unit within Intel, we offer flat hierarchies, fast decision making and great atmosphere combined with the benefits of a competitive compensation.

You will be part of one of the most exciting trends in the industry, creating products for diverse and highly sought-after solutions. Here Intel is seeking a highly-motivated engineer to contribute to the design and development of new motor controller equipment for our industrial drones as well as manned aircraft in the future. This is a critical components of the Intel drone development.

  • Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems.
  • Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
  • Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.


  • Experience and strong skills with advanced analog and digital electronics circuits design
  • 1 - 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in power electronics design
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC & thermal considerations in PCB design
  • Experience with working and troubleshooting of electronic systems prototypes incl. soldering skills
  • Portfolio of embedded systems design projects complete design life-cycle
  • analog and digital circuit design, schematic capture, board design
  • Proficiency in using laboratory measurement equipment e.g. scopes, digital multi-meters, logic analyzers
  • Advanced skills in embedded software development will be an asset
  • A 'Hands-on' person with good analytical skills
  • Independence in work and ability to take responsibility for realized projects
  • Team player
