Job Description

Network Solutions Group is responsible for engineering network access solutions, both inside and outside of Intel, in a variety of technologies, wired and wireless, in a secure and qualitative manner for a variety of services such as data, voice and video. The projects in the group are varied according to the needs of the customers, including integration of wireless networks at Intel, development of VPN services and remote access to the network, routing of the network at Intel, introduction of advanced communications services such as softphone, peer to peer and webcast video And Intel customers.

The group consists of engineers and students The group works with a wide range of infrastructure, such as routers, switches, wireless access points from a variety of manufacturers to develop the best access solutions for Intel. Testing tools are widely used for analysis and analysis, and use of programming and databases for engineering, managing and testing the quality of solutions.

General Job description:

  • Students in the group are an integral part of the work group, working closely with engineers, and receive close guidance and guidance.
  • The student's role is varied according to the project, and usually includes responsibility in the field of testing, analysis of solutions and writing of code and reports for the purposes of control, analysis and operation.
  • The student will work with communication infrastructures, databases and scripting languages such as Perl.
  • The student works mainly with the team engineers and, if necessary, with other IT engineers or Intel development teams, and with external service providers.
  • Group work is usually in dynamic and small teams 4-5 people, with the possibility of individual and independent transport of certain areas of the project.
  • There is a possibility of growth in the group to the point of integration as a full-fledged engineer, and as the graduate progresses, more and more varied areas of responsibility will be possible.


Qualifications

  • High Ability to self-study
  • Previous knowledge of communications protocols and / or experience in wireless communication networks - an advantage
  • Good command of English - reading, writing and speaking
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal communication
