Technical Program Manager

Job Description: As a senior technical Program Manager part of Intel IOTG you will participate in many innovative projects, and apply your expertise in a fast paced technically driven environment. You'll be part of a bright engineering team that has an open communication, empowerment, innovation, and team-work and customer success culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong self-directed work ethic and a can do attitude. You will be driving the programs on the next generation's embedded, communications, sensor and security technologies and will have an opportunity to provide product leadership on the world best technologies that will be released to the market in the next few years. You will be responsible for following but not limited to:In this role you will be responsible for managing multiple, simultaneous SW development projects through all phases of the development lifecycle. Coordinate interdependent end to end validation, and present executive-level report outs with global teams. Responsibilities:- Manage project-level scope, risks, schedules, resources, and interdependencies through effective planning, monitoring, and control of the project execution- Manage multiple, concurrent development projects balancing stakeholder and customer needs with effective execution- Ensures appropriate progress against project and program schedules and take remedial action as appropriate- Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders- Influences business unit or cross-organizational strategies to leverage synergies between different programs- Develop and deliver weekly project and program status updates.- Ensure that team members are recognized for exceptional work and that project and program accomplishments are recognized and rewarded.- Assess risks and identifies solutions for timely, efficient achievement of program goals - Ensure all Ireleases meet desired business outcomes, stakeholder interests and critical requirements.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates - Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or related technical field plus 10 years of work experience, or M.S. degree plus 7 years of work experience.- 5+ years' experience in successful project management product development activities on complex, medium to large scale projects- Demonstrated capability to lead multiple, concurrent projects through the product development lifecycle. Experience with Intel's SDL required.- Demonstrated experience with project management best practices and processes including schedule development, risk management, and change control in both - Waterfall and Agile methodologies. PMP and/or Agile Scrum Master certification required.- Proven ability to influence, obtain results and manage multiple senior stakeholder in highly ambiguous environments. - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Quick study - able to quickly grasp value propositions and associated enabling technologies.- Information security/risk management knowledge a plusDesired Qualifications: Knowledge of embedded RTOS such as FreeRTOSExperience with the controllers such I2C, SPI etc.Knowledge of IOT related protocols such as MQTT, HTTPS, 15.4 etcExperience with cryptography applied to embedded systems
