Senior Software Development Engineer

Job Description

Intel's Non-volatile Memory Systems Group (NSG) listens to our customers, creates solutions that meet their needs and fuel their businesses, and innovates to create ultra-fast, high-density storage media. This role works within the NSG Automation Execution Controls team to design, develop, and integrate automated solutions to meet NSG manufacturing needs for all phases of memory process technology development and production. The Senior Software Development Engineer confers with NSG users and study information needs, data usage, and work processes to define needs. This role will also collaborate with technology development partners to define goals, align strategy, and drive fast paced development to meet the needs within aggressive technology node cadences.


Qualifications

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Prior related experience (8+ years with a BS, 5+ with a Masters, and 3+ with a PhD)
  • Strong coding skills with the ability to understand algorithms, data structures and database fundamentals.
  • Ability to work in different programming languages/environments.

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group:  The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices.  The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.
