Validation Program manager for Wireless Connectivity Solutions group

The AMAZING group that does this technology is - GNSS Core products (GCP). This group develops and ships cutting edge GNSS solutions, from prototyping to discrete Silicon (SoC) to full product integration. Products developed by Intel GCP are designed to be integrated in high-end mobile products in the market.

The System Validation team is responsible from white box and black box validation testing of the product, and owns the responsibility to deliver products with high quality and great UX (user experience). The team is highly professional with deep understanding of GNSS technology, and massive investment in SW and automation development. The validation activities includes lab work as well as field trials.

We are looking for excellent and highly motivated candidates for Validation Program Engineering Management (VPEM) position to join our winning team. The team is located in Petach Tiqva, Israel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise with GNSS validation methodologies.
  • Develop expertise with GCP platforms, products and solutions.
  • Develop product validation strategy, spanning product life cycle
  • Develop , execute and track comprehensive workplans for all validation and quality activities within the program
  • Report product quality and healthiness on a weekly basis to PDT and management.
  • Manage bug scrub meetings and verify that product maturity is increasing and reaching the quality targets
  • Focal point for the program validation SH’s as well as development teams (SW PEM, Phy Lead etc.)

Qualifications

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Electronics/ Electrical engineering / Computer science  
  • 5+ years of relevant  validation experience in any of the following fields
    • Wireless SoC / System validation
    • RT/ Embedded systems
  • Able to plan and manage complex interdisciplinary activities
  • Highly motivated and proven capability to work in a group but yet have the ability to handle tasks independently.
  • Data gathering and presentation skills

Nice to have Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of GNSS technology and tools – a big advantage
  • MS Project
  • Validation tools – Quality Center , bug tracking tools
