For the WCS (Wireless Connectivity Solutions) division, we are looking for talented students for promoting our wireless coexistence solution thru proof-of-concept testing and experimentation.
Wireless coexistence is a highly complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-com technology, purposed to ensure that collocated wireless communication technologies e.g. 2G/3G/LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GNSS, WiGig, 802.15.4, wireless charging etc can operate simultaneously on mobile platforms.
Intel's coexistence solution is multi-layered and includes dedicated RF-, silicon-, SW/FW design and highly innovative algorithms.
Example roles and responsibilities of the job:
-Execute proof-of-concepts lab tests with Intel's development and integration groups, using highly advanced wireless test equipment and analytical SW tools
-Execute reverse engineering of link control algorithms used by wireless devices, such as WiFi routers and Bluetooth accessories
-Execute tests to map the behavior of our coexistence solution in uncharted scenarios
- 2nd year student for B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Specialized studies in communication/scheduling/signal processing
- Independent and self-motivated, capable of executing in uncertain environment
