Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer - IMDT

Job Description

In this position, you will be the overall technical owner of Intel Memory Drive Technology a Software Defined Memory Technology.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Support end-user POC, serve as a pre-sales consultant, play an active role in customer enabling and act as a post-sales escalation point.

- Manage the interactions between the hardware PDT and software vendor.

- Hands on experience on issue duplication.

- Customer and marketing collateral deliverable.

- Training content creation. Capable on SW and solution based validation.

- Feedback to PDT and software vendor on customer usage model, feature requirement.

- Hands on Intel Memory Drive Technology solution demo build up.


Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree with 6 years' experience, a Master's Degree with 4 years' experience, or a PhD with 2 years' experience. Degree should be in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software validation experience.
  • 5+ years Linux/Unix hands on experience. (Certified Linux/Unix Administrator is preferred. Experience in Linux scripting, Linux driver porting and kernel migration is highly desired.)
  • 5+ years of working knowledge on server platform including hardware architecture, BIOS and Firmware.

Required Skills.

  • Strong knowledge of OS/driver/ISV software stack.
  • Strong troubleshooting skillset and trained troubleshooting methodology
  • Knowledge in any of the following MySQL, Oracle, Python, SysbenchOther

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Linux scripting, Linux driver porting and kernel migration is highly desired.
  • Experience with NVM-based SSDs desired, including architectural and FW algorithm.
  • Familiarity with storage benchmarks and measurement/analysis techniques.
  • Understanding of storage protocols including NVMe.
  • Understanding of system level performance tuning.
